Before parting ways with Victoria's Secret recently, former Angel Doutzen Kroes made many a sexy cameo in the brand's swim catalog, writhing around in the sand with messed-to-perfection wavy hair. But how does her model mane look when she goes to the beach for real? We now have the answer, thanks to photos of her frolicking on Miami Beach this week (for recreational purposes, not a shoot). While she played paddle ball in the surf, Doutzen's waves were looking almost catalog-worthy but definitely more natural. These appear to be real-life beachy waves created with the assistance of salty air and humidity, rather than texturizing cream and a curling iron. Then Doutzen's hair got wet and she pulled it half-back. Dare I say this is the hair look that any ordinary girl at the beach would have? Look, actual tangles! I consider these evidence that she is not fully superhuman. But wait—then Doutzen pulled a savvy model move and twisted her damp hair into this chic beach bun. Also, life and genetics continue to be entirely unfair. Also, I am not feeling this bathing suit. The placement of the tiger's facial features is rather unfortunate.
