The Latest Trailers for Into the Woods, Minions, and Annie Will Make You Wish You Were a Kid Again

I'll never forget going to see Finding Nemo in the movie theater with my friend in high school, looking around, and realizing we were the only people over the age of 16 not accompanied by young kids. I felt equal parts embarrassed and creepy at first, but after the movie was over, I truly didn't care in the slightest—because, let's face it, that movie was good no matter what age you are. I've since gone to see several "kids" movies with no shame, because I'm now a firm believer that, sometimes, the quality of the story transcends age (Up, anyone?). The following new trailers are all prime examples of that rule, and you can bet I'll be in those kids-packed theaters for all three. Into the Woods Taking a page from the Les Miserables playbook, this iconic musical based on all our favorite Brothers Grimm fairy tales hits theaters this Christmas Day—and based off this first look, I'm now more anxious for the holiday than a department store is to put out all its Christmas gear (they're creeping closer and closer to Halloween each year, but that's another story). Also just like Les Mis, this version of Into the Woods

Also just like Les Mis, this version of Into the Woods features a powerhouse cast (Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp, MERYL STREEP) that is certain nail it (and guarantee a box office win).__

Minions When I heard that those yellow earplug-looking creatures from Despicable Me were getting their own movie, I was worried they would cross the thin line from cute to annoying. But this first trailer has erased that fear: Those things are still pretty damn adorable, even in high doses. I'm not ashamed to say that I'll pay money for a movie ticket to follow the minions on their journey to New York for a permanent despicable master (past leaders include Tyrannosaurus Rex, Dracula, and Pharoah). The animated film hits theaters July 10 and stars the voices of Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, and Allison Janney.

Annie I normally have my doubts about "modern" remakes of classics, since the tendency to ruin the original often outweighs any tribute efforts—but I'm giving this Annie remake the benefit of the doubt and forgiving its Twitter references, primarily because of what looks like an amazing Quvenzhane Wallis performance. I've also loved Cameron Diaz in the "mean/hot-mess" role since Bad Teacher, and Jamie Foxx and Rose Byrne don't hurt either. The remake hits theaters Christmas Day.

__I'm already rearranging my holiday plans to fit in Annie and Into the Woods, but which pseudo kids movie are you most excited for?
