I'm a bit of a ballerina nut. I grew up dancing and harboring dreams of being a professional ballet dancer; my Instagram feed is taken up with designers and fashion bloggers but also gorgeous ballerinas and aspiring students who absolutely wow me. While scrolling through recently, I realized that as much as a killer #OOTD post can inspire me, so do the leotards, floaty skirts, and casual layers that dancers routinely rock in the studio. I'm not suggesting we all step out in chiffon skirts and tights, but these gorgeous pics totally inspire me to mix romantic skirts with basic tops and make sure simple lines get as much play as my more aggressive, fanciful numbers.
Aren't they all lovely? What random places do you find style inspiration?
