And our Beauty and the Beast love triangle has been completed: Joining Emma Watson as Belle and Luke Evans as Gaston in the live-action reboot will be Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens as the Beast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Now, this is certainly not the ugly Beast that Megan requested—besides the baby blues and face scruff, nothing about Stevens screams beastly. But that's nothing a good makeup department, some faux fur, and a set of fake teeth can't handle (and it will certainly make his transformation that much more dramatic). This is also a major get for Stevens, who's previously been seen mainly in supporting roles in movies such as A Walk Among the Tombstones and Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.
