Prepare to Feel Fantastic About Yourself the Next Time You Buy Mascara

Please tell me that someone else has, at some point in her life, felt bored on a random weekend afternoon, hopped in the car, and drove to the drugstore for a little bit of beauty aisle therapy. I've totally been there, done that, and the damage is usually pretty negligible— nail polish, some eyeliner, and always, always new mascara. Next time I start aching for the open road and a bag full of just-bought makeup, CoverGirl is ready for me. Starting this week and through the end of the year, $1 from the purchase of five different mascaras will go to a handful of charities the brand has selected for its #GirlsCan campaign in an effort to support and empower young women. As part of my do-better life goal (do you have one too?), I've recently started working with Step Up Women's Network in an effort to give back and was thrilled to find out they were one of the partners. Other groups involved include Girls Who Code, Dress for Success, and the Soledad O'Brien & Brad Raymond Starfish Foundation. Included items are available at Walgreens and Duane Reade stores and marked handily with #GirlsCan (love a good hashtag!). How

How many times would you say you buy new mascara a year? I'd have to guess...three for me?
